Inspiration
Love Kills is Atto III, Scena III of the Opera collection, with a nod to Shakespeare: tonight she is Imogen, tomorrow night Juliet. The rose of love is in full bloom, crisp and vibrant as the feeling of a lover. Yet love may have a tragic end. After just one night the rose has dried, and what remains is dust in your hands and a beautiful, melancholic memory of a swiftly fading romance.

The Signature of Love Kills
Masque Milano divides Love Kills into two parts rather than a classic pyramid. Love opens with Turkish rose oil and Egyptian geranium, joined by a skin-like ambrette accord. Kills lets the rose dry down: Turkish rose absolute, a dark, molecularly distilled patchouli and an accord of cedar, animalic musks and amber. The scent thus moves from radiant and juicy to velvety, powdery and restrained.
