Inspiration
Elusive, atmospheric forests stand at the beginning of Licorice Woods. Amouroud takes you through a hazy darkness, lit by golden spices, velvety flowers and the bitter freshness of licorice. The house compares the scent to a soothing embrace from nature.

Heart notes: Jasmine, licorice, orchid
Base notes: Oud, cedarwood, amber
The Signature of Licorice Woods
Anise and black pepper give a tingling, slightly medicinal start, with elemi as a citrusy resin. Licorice forms the heart, together with jasmine and orchid, which round off the bitterness. Oud, cedarwood and melted amber provide a primal warmth underneath, raw and comforting at once.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Licorice Woods is a scent you either love or not, and we love it. Anyone fond of licorice will instantly recognise that sweet, spicy anise, but this is no candy: the wood and amber make it dry and grown-up. By midday it is milder and rounder. Its moment is October: hunting mushrooms among damp trees, or an evening with a good glass. Above all for adventurous wearers.
