Inspiration

Lamar Caviar draws inspiration from the mysterious beauty of golden pearls, tropical lagoons and the radiant warmth of a golden sunset. Kajal created the fragrance in collaboration with Microcaps AG and LUZI AG as the first alcohol-free fine fragrance to use Microcaps’ patented perfume pearls technology. The water-based fragrance oil is encapsulated within alginate pearls which break open when dispensed, releasing the fragrance as a fine mist. The composition was created by perfumer Mark Buxton.

The Signature of Lamar Caviar

Lamar Caviar combines a distinctly fruity opening with a rich floral heart and a warm, soft base. Pineapple, red berries and apple create a juicy and luminous opening, while cardamom and coriander introduce an aromatic spiced nuance. The heart brings together Bulgarian and Turkish rose with jasmine sambac and magnolia, creating an elegant floral dimension.

The base moves into a warmer and softer register. Vanilla and amber provide roundness, while cashmere wood, cedar wood and musk add structure and depth. The official note structure follows the recognizable olfactive character of Lamar, while its alcohol-free Perfume D’Eau format gives Lamar Caviar a distinctive identity of its own.

What makes Lamar Caviar particularly distinctive is the way the fragrance is delivered. The fragrance oil is contained within microscopic alginate pearls. When applied, these pearls break open and release the fragrance as a delicate mist. Kajal therefore combines traditional fragrance composition with an unusual technological approach to the fragrance experience.
