Gin Fizz

Inspiration
In 1955 a film star fascinated the crowds, the face of an elegant America in the films of Alfred Hitchcock and John Ford, alongside James Stewart and Cary Grant. Her charm even won the heart of a prince. As a tribute, Henri Giboulet created for Lubin a chic, sparkling scent, named after the cocktail then in vogue in the American bars of Paris.

The Signature of Gin Fizz
Sicilian bergamot and lemon, Messina mandarin and juniper berry give a fizzing, fresh opening. Iris pallida, galbanum, orange blossom, rose and Turkish jasmine form an elegant, powdery heart. Lily, benzoin, Florentine orris, vetiver, oakmoss and white musk close with a chic chypre base. Perfumers: Henri Giboulet and Thomas Fontaine.

Gin Fizz may well be the best-known Lubin, and rightly so. The citrus and juniper really fizz like a cocktail on ice. Then comes the iris, powdery and slightly cool, which makes it so chic. The mossy base gives it the class of an old film classic. It is light enough for daytime. We wear it on summer afternoons and to drinks.
