Inspiration
Attar Al Has describes Fleur de Tabac as a scent that balances the balsamic sweetness of vanilla with a dry, masculine side. Whoever wears it, the house says, takes on an air of mystery. The tobacco plant is at the centre, with both the dried leaf and the rarely used flower, which smells sweeter and lighter.

The Signature of Fleur de Tabac
The opening is busy and lively: bergamot and tea, white pear and green apple, with saffron, nutmeg, cinnamon bark, thyme and the fruity, faintly boozy davana. Then everything settles into a heart of tobacco leaf and tobacco flower with floral accents. Vanilla absolute, tonka bean, amber, white musk and incense make the base soft, warm and slightly smoky.

For us Fleur de Tabac is one of the most wearable tobacco scents we know. The tea and pear at the start take the weight out, and the tobacco stays closer to honey than to an ashtray. What surprises us is how dry it feels despite the vanilla: the incense and thyme create that distance. It is unisex, though many men reach for it first in our salon. Wear it in autumn and winter, with a wool coat, a good glass or a long walk in the cold. Longevity is excellent and the sillage stays controlled.
