Centre Stage

Inspiration
Centre Stage is set in the cabaret clubs of the 1920s, where decadent high society met unashamed drama. Perfumer Bruno Jovanovic wanted to capture the mood of those clubs: the scent of lipstick, the feel of fur and the whisper of smoke. The scent belongs to the Britologne Collection, in which Thameen reinvents the classic cologne.

The Signature of Centre Stage
Petitgrain, cardamom and lavender give a classically aromatic opening. Then an intense orange blossom absolute comes forward, with orris as powder and jasmine for volume. Styrax, a leather accord and amber woods give the base a smoky, slightly animalic sheen.

For us Centre Stage is the most seductive Cologne Elixir in the Thameen range. The orange blossom is generous and sweet, but orris makes it powdery like make-up and the leather pulls it towards night. The result smells like a dressing room just before the show, and we mean that very positively. It projects firmly and lasts long. We wear it on evenings out, preferably in autumn and winter. Anyone who finds orange blossom too sweet will discover a grown-up, sultry version here.
