Chypre is one of the rare formulas dating back to the founding of Le Galion by Prince Murat in 1930. In 2020 Jean-Christophe Hérault gave it a modern look and turned it into a wardrobe classic, full of elegance and mystery.

The Signature of Chypre
Pink pepper gives a fresh, contemporary opening to a mainly floral heart of rose and jasmine. Rose oxide brings floral character and icy freshness at once. All the elements of a great chypre come together, with a sensual drydown of patchouli, musk and vetiver.

Anyone who misses the classic chypres of the past should try this one. The pink pepper makes the rose lively at once, and we find that icy edge of rose oxide very elegant. Only later do patchouli and musk come forward, warm and a little mischievous. It feels polished and grown up without being old-fashioned. We wear it all year, by day and to dinner.
