Black Jade

Inspiration
A bottle of black jade held the last scents of a secret garden. A curious apprentice copied the recipe, and so the secret resurfaced. It is the memory of a queen in the rose garden of Trianon, far from the splendour of the court, just before the storm of history.

The Signature of Black Jade
Galbanum, bergamot and cardamom freshly announce a heart of jasmine and Damask rose, enriched with Fartak incense and Ceylon cinnamon. The amber base rests on Indian sandalwood and patchouli, adorned with Bourbon vanilla and tonka bean. Perfumers: Jean-Louis Fargeon and Thomas Fontaine. Vegan.

Black Jade is for us Lubin's most romantic scent. The galbanum opens green and slightly bitter, as if walking through a hedge. Then you smell roses with cinnamon and a wisp of incense, like a chapel in the garden. In the base it turns warm and creamy through sandalwood and vanilla. It stays beautiful to the very last hours. We choose it on autumn evenings and at a candlelit dinner.
