Inspiration
Paul Vacher composed Bourrasque in 1937 and 1938, and at the time it was advertised as strong, strong, strong. Rodrigo Flores-Roux reinterpreted it with that promise in mind, inspired by the great chypres of the twentieth century.

The Signature of Bourrasque
A burst of citrus and a gust of warm and fresh spices carry a rose with the velvety texture of apricot. Night blooming jasmine links the fresh, spicy and floral tones. In a hurricane of leaves and wood, patchouli, cistus, oakmoss and hyraceum unfold.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Bourrasque lives up to its name. The chili and ginger tingle on the first spray, an exciting start we rarely find in other chypres. Then the rose appears with that apricot velvet, and beneath it the moss and cistus that make everything dark and dry. It is powerful and has a long breath. We wear it on windy autumn days, when a scent may be bold.
