Bohemian Infusion

Inspiration
Bohemian Infusion refers to the Covent Garden Piazza in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when the square was a playground for dandies and writers with a weakness for sinful pleasures. Master perfumer Maurice Roucel and Alexandra Carlin translated the tension between light and shadow, danger and desire, into a Cologne Elixir from the Britologne line.

The Signature of Bohemian Infusion
Grapefruit and petitgrain open bright and juicy, joined by blackcurrant and cardamom. Cinnamon draws a spicy line, while artemisia, myrtle and longoza add an icy, resinous aromatic side. In the base, earthy patchouli and mineral Ambrostar are wrapped in labdanum and Ambre 84 from De Laire.

What we like in Bohemian Infusion is that the cologne structure stays recognisable yet keeps being pushed somewhere else. The first minutes are exuberantly fresh; then the artemisia and labdanum creep forward and it turns darker and more sensual. For a cologne its longevity is notably good. We wear it all year, by day with a white shirt and at night with something dark. A headstrong pick for those who want citrus with character and a bit of shadow.
