Blue Heart

Inspiration
Blue Heart is named after the Blue Heart diamond, the largest heart-shaped blue diamond in the world at more than thirty carats. Thameen took its cue from the zest for life of the socialites who owned the stone. To portray their colourful, exotic lives the house placed vanilla at the centre and let it play with saffron and coconut.

The Signature of Blue Heart
Saffron gives the opening a leathery, golden tone, and white coconut immediately makes it softer and sunnier. Vanilla holds the heart, made powdery by orris and deepened with tonka bean. Vetiver, amber, white musk and nagarmotha lay a dry, lightly smoky floor beneath it, so the sweetness never turns sticky.

Blue Heart suits vanilla lovers tired of the beaten path. The coconut is subtle, more a soft milkiness than a beach lotion, and the saffron keeps the whole thing grown-up. After a few hours a powdery, warm skin scent stays close to you. It works remarkably well by day, certainly in spring, and as an evening scent in winter too. Few Thameen scents without ever feeling ordinary.
