Aurea

Inspiration
Aurea is an earlier fragrance from the Pantheon Roma collection and the predecessor of Auris. Aurea is no longer listed as a standalone fragrance in the collection on the Pantheon Roma website, and the house no longer publishes a description or note list of its own for it. A few bottles of Aurea are still present at ParfuMaria.

Because the house no longer publishes a separate inspiration for Aurea, we will not invent one. What we do know: Aurea is the foundation on which Auris builds, the fragrance Pantheon Roma describes as an artistic perfume about discovery, with a sparkling citrus freshness that evokes freshness and mystery.

The Olfactive Composition
Pantheon Roma no longer publishes a note list for Aurea itself. Below is the official composition of its successor Auris, which shares the same fresh citrus aromatic signature:
Top Notes: grapefruit, lime, yuzu, lychee
Heart Notes: ginger, mint, myrtle, juniper
Base Notes: ambergris, tonka bean, cedarwood

The Signature of Aurea
Aurea carries the fresh, citrus aromatic signature that Auris developed further. Grapefruit, lime and yuzu create a bright, sparkling opening, with lychee as a soft, exotic counterpart to the tart citrus.

The heart is cool and aromatic, with ginger, mint, myrtle and juniper. That combination makes the scent fresher and more characterful than a classic citrus: spicy, green and lightly resinous. In the base, ambergris, tonka bean and cedarwood create a warm, salty and woody finish that holds the freshness for a long time.
