Above the Waves

Inspiration
Above the Waves is the first Etat Libre d'Orange scent devoted to tea. The house sees the tea ritual as more than a gesture: a moment to reconnect with movement and breath. It honours Mazu, the goddess who protects sailors, and stands for shelter, elevation and the wish to look above the waves for a moment and see the bigger picture. Two distinctive tea varieties form its core.

The Signature of Above the Waves
Bergamot, cardamom and a hint of incense open fresh and aromatic. Green maté and Ceylon tea give a bitter green heart with a soft rose, and tonka, cedar and vetiver a dry, calm woody base.
