The Signature of 1725 Casanova

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Casanova was born in Venice in 1725, and this scent carries something of his charm without ever becoming insistent. We find the opening surprisingly playful: bergamot, citrus and grapefruit sparkle fresh, and underneath sits a sweet edge of liquorice that sparks curiosity at once. The heart is classic yet individual. Lavender brings the familiar aromatic clarity of a fougère, but star anise makes it softer and a touch sweeter, as if the lavender has slipped into a velvet jacket. Then the creamy side comes forward. Vanilla and almond round everything off, sandalwood and cedar give structure, and amber adds a warm finish. We admire how 1725 keeps the fresh and the gourmand in balance. It is a lavender scent for those who find the barbershop idea too strict: elegant, affectionate and easy to wear, by day at the office or in the evening at the table.
