Inspiration
In the Emirates, children call their mother Umy. Dhaher Bin Dhaher dedicated this scent to his own, and through her to every mother who holds a household together. He chose the materials that always linger in such homes: saffron, rose, frankincense and a trace of oud from a box that is only opened on feast days.
Fragrance Family
Oriental, floral and woody
The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Black pepper, amyris, clove leaf, bergamot, lime, saffron
Heart notes: Sambac jasmine, Turkish rose, sandalwood, orris, carnation, orchid

The Signature of Amaya
Black pepper and saffron tingle, lime keeps it bright for a moment. Then sambac jasmine and Turkish rose open, with carnation as a spicy edge. Labdanum, olibanum and oud spread a warm blanket underneath.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Amaya moved us the first time we tested it, on a rainy afternoon in the shop. The pepper is brief, almost a greeting, and then the rose arrives, full and faintly honeyed. What stayed with us most is how homely it becomes afterwards: the frankincense and oud never smell stern, more like a familiar cupboard full of scarves. On skin it stays long and soft, and on a wool coat you still smell it the next day. We like to suggest it to anyone looking for something for the mother who already has everything, and we wear it ourselves when we need an embrace without words.
