Opoponax is a sweet myrrh, and in this scent the resin takes the lead role. We love how rose and jasmine announce it warmly, like a curtain opening. Then the opoponax gleams, sweet and balsamic, with sandalwood making it creamy. In the base the castoreum appears: a lightly animalic, leathery warmth that keeps the vanilla grown-up. It lasts until late in the evening and smells heavenly on wool. We choose it for Christmas, an evening at the opera or simply a cold day when we want to wear something golden.
