The Essence

The Essence feels like Francesca Bianchi reducing her entire olfactory signature to its purest form. No elaborate story, no highly complex structure, but the raw DNA running through nearly all of her creations.

Francesca describes The Essence as an “Animalic Booster.” The idea was to create a fragrance that works both as a standalone perfume and as a layering tool capable of enhancing the projection, depth and presence of other fragrances. It can be worn underneath or on top of another scent to amplify its aura and diffusion. 

From the opening, her unmistakable signature emerges. Warm, skin-like, softly powdery and deeply animalic. Not in an aggressive way, but through an intimate sensuality that remains close to the skin while continuously radiating outward.

Violet introduces elegant powderiness with subtle iris-like facets. Suede forms the heart of the composition, creating supple worn leather with velvety softness. Iso E Super provides transparency, diffusion and airy projection, allowing the fragrance to expand without becoming heavy. 

When worn alone, The Essence feels surprisingly intimate. Simpler and more direct than many of Francesca’s other creations, yet deeply characteristic of her style. Warm, comforting, animalic and irresistibly close.

When layered with other perfumes, however, it transforms into something entirely different. Woods become deeper, florals become richer, ambers become warmer and softer fragrances gain greater presence. Rather than functioning as a conventional layering scent, The Essence acts almost like an olfactory amplifier.
