The Black Knight

Inspiration
The Black Knight is inspired by Giovanni dalle Bande Nere, an Italian Renaissance condottiero and scion of the Medici. Francesca Bianchi was charmed by his loyalty, his spartan lifestyle and his moral commitment. The scent depicts a military camp: the sweetness of wild shrubs, the smoke of a campfire, the smell of leather horse tack, and a powdery rose for his secret mistress.

The Black Knight tells a story you can genuinely smell. The artemisia and honey are the shrubs around the camp, the leather and smoke the tack and the fire, and the rose is that secret love. We find the beeswax with narcissus beautiful, soft and a touch melancholic. It is a vetiver scent with character, for men and women. Ideal for autumn walks in the woods.
