Inspiration
With Secrets of Love, Martine Micallef wanted to unlock the secrets of love. The bottles are decorated with fine lines, like little cages, and each scent carries its own key. This is the first version of Délice, in 75 ml.
Fragrance Family
Oriental and spicy
The Olfactive Composition
Main notes: Pink Pepper, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Oud Wood
The Signature of Délice
Pink pepper tingles briefly on skin. Nutmeg and cinnamon quickly make it warm and spicy. A dark wood tone of oud lends depth.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
This Délice differs from the newer version the house makes today, and that is exactly what makes it interesting. It is spicier, with cinnamon and nutmeg that recall speculaas biscuits, and beneath them a dry, woody edge. We find it cosy without becoming sweet. It suits dark days, a thick jumper and a cup of chai. The bottle with its cage design looks beautiful on a shelf. For fans of the early Secrets of Love this is a lovely find.
