Inspiration
The year 1968 marks the start of Rosendo Mateu as a perfumer, when he learned to work with natural materials in Grasse. The scent pays tribute to the tuberose fields around that town, where his love for the craft was born.

The Signature of 1968
Tuberose without the sultriness: green, fresh and clear. Herbs and rose add a light tension. Musk and vanilla let the flower glow on softly.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us 1968 is the tuberose for people who think they do not like tuberose. It is green and airy, almost as if you have just snipped a stem, and the herbs keep it clear. Only after an hour does it turn creamier, with a soft vanilla. We like wearing it by day in spring and summer, to the office or a lunch. An elegant, natural floral that never dominates.
