The Story of the Brand
Robert Piguet opened his couture house in Paris in 1933, where talents such as Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy and Pierre Balmain trained with him. His first atelier was on the Rue du Cirque. In the 1940s he launched two icons with perfumer Germaine Cellier: Bandit in 1944 and Fracas in 1948.

The house's fragrances combine couture elegance with daring. The black bottles with coloured lettering are instantly recognisable, and the compositions are rich, characterful and refined, from classic chypres and white florals to modern oud and woody scents.
