Quasi cielo, almost heaven. After a long, dark period you see the sky clearing again and feel you are nearly at the top. Gabriella Chieffo calls it the chapter of rebirth: the first step back towards light, still careful but full of hope.

The Signature of Quasicielo
Green tangerine, lemon, fresh ginger and finger lime burst out fresh and tart. Then black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom warm the scent, with galbanum as a green thread. Myrrh, incense, tonka bean and amber form a balsamic base, rounded off with patchouli and sandalwood.

Quasicielo starts like lemonade and ends like a warm chapel full of resin, and we find that transition beautiful. The first half hour is cheerfully citrusy, then the spices arrive and it grows ever deeper. Towards evening a soft cloud of tonka and incense lingers on the skin. It suits the in-between seasons, from March to October. Perfect if you like to start fresh and end warm.
