Platinum caresses the skin in just the same way as the finest silk cloth does. The spicy, licorice-like topnotes of star anise and minty fresh geranium open the fragrance like the sharp pull of a zip, but this is soon followed by a voluptuous floral brocade threaded thickly with the floral filigrees of sambac jasmine, lily of the valley, violets, and lilacs. Towards the base, other precious, shimmering silvery threads are woven into the dense cloth – an airy heliotrope, milky white in its almond fineness, creamy sandalwood, the whitest of amber accords, a silver-grey oakmoss and a fine white musk. These pearly threads weave into the brocade and give it the gleaming polish of the finest platinum, a substance more valuable than gold.
The warm yet fresh scent will feel like silk on the skin. The spiciness of Star Anise in combination with Jasmine and White Musk is elegant and alluring.
