Megalium looks back to an almost mythical Rome, when rose water flowed from fountains and balsams scented the air of bath rituals and private chambers. The opening arrives in a confident wave of cinnamon and aromatic calamus, lifted by a discreet mandarin glow that keeps everything vivid. In the heart, spice and rose meet with ceremonial richness: nutmeg, pimento berry and white pepper add heat and texture, while Bulgarian rose extract brings a plush, classical elegance. Then the composition settles into a slow, dramatic burn of incense and resin. Frankincense, myrrh, opoponax and styrax create a balsamic, ambery trail that feels historical in spirit yet distinctly contemporary on skin.
