Cuir Cuba

Inspiration
Cuir Cuba is a childhood memory of Patricia de Nicolaï: she loved the smell of her father’s cigar boxes. She wanted to recreate that comforting mystery, dressed in licorice, anise and a hint of magnolia. The House describes it as a bold interpretation of dried tobacco leaf, with a surprising freshness around tobacco and leather.

The Signature of Cuir Cuba
Anise, lemon and mint make the opening surprisingly fresh for a tobacco scent. Tobacco absolute sits at the heart, surrounded by lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang, magnolia and coriander, which give the tobacco a floral, aromatic sheen. In the base, licorice and hay bring the dry, lightly sweet tone of a filled cigar box, with patchouli, cedar and musk as a warm foundation.
