Vetiveryl Acetate could be described as a hybrid molecule, half-natural, half-synthetic. It is a fraction of vetiver oil, distilled from the roots of an Indian grass, which is then ‘crossed’ with acetic acid to remove the bitter and leathery aspects of the root.
The result is an elegant and refined molecule with the woody, slightly grassy character of vetiver, but far smoother and softer. “Acetylation also brings out the grapefruit touch in vetiver,” says Geza Schoen, “giving a more pronounced bitter-fresh top note.”
Molecule 03 consists of Vetiveryl Acetate, pure and singular.

The launch of the third pair of scents from Escentric Molecules takes the runaway success story of the niche fragrance world back to its roots – literally. As with the first two pairs, launched in 2006 and 2008, Schoen has designed two scents as an homage to a single scent ingredient, or aroma-chemical. The aroma-chemical this time is vetiveryle acetate, a refined vetiver note which is celebrated at its purest in Molecule 03.

De uitdagende en ongewone geuren van Escentric Molecules zijn revolutionair in de parfumwereld! Molecule 03 is een unisex parfum, gebaseerd op Vetiveryl Acetate, een natuur-identiek aroma molecuul van ambergris. Fris en sprankelend. Deze geur heeft een bijna minerale frisheid. Dit heeft een onweerstaanbare effect en een sexy en schone uitstraling van de drager. Het parfum dat zorgt voor ultieme aantrekkingskracht.Uniek is dat deze geur te combineren en te dragen valt met andere geuren, waaronder de Escentric 03.
Deze Molecule-geuren bestaat uit 1 molecule de Vetiveryl Acetate. Deze geur heeft een andere vorm van parfumeren dan een "normale geur". De Molecule is niet continu aanwezig voor uzelf, maar voor anderen wel. Dit ligt aan de molecule Ambroxan, deze komt en gaat omdat deze voor 65% geconcentreerd is en is dus soms lastig te herkennen voor de eigen neus. Omdat er in de Escentric-geuren meer ingrediënten zitten, worden deze door de neus beter herkend als een op zichzelf staande geur. U zult deze daarom dan ook beter zelf ruiken. De Molecule is ook erg goed te combineren met andere geuren en dus ook juist een goede combinatie met de Escentric geuren. De Molecule-geuren zijn eerder een gewaarwording en een beleving van een sfeer.
