Inspiration
Ananda is Sanskrit for serenity. Martine Micallef wanted a scent that brings calm, poured into a pearly white bottle with hand-set crystals and a golden cap. It became the house bestseller.
Fragrance Family

Main notes: Lemon, Blackcurrant, Plum, Pear, Violet, Rose, Mimosa, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Vanilla, White Musk
The Signature of Ananda
Juicy pear and plum open soft and fruity. Violet and mimosa lend a powdery glow. Vanilla and white musk finish it like a cashmere shawl.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Ananda is one of those scents we hand to customers almost blindly when they want something soft and feminine. The fruit in the opening is sweet without turning childish, and once the violet rises it takes on a powdery quality that reminds us of old make-up compacts. It hangs around you for ages, round and warm. During the day, at the office or over lunch it feels right, and it is just as fitting at a wedding. The bottle itself sits on many a dressing table like a jewel.
