Inspiration
Cinabre is a riddle hidden inside the rose. Maria Candida Gentile macerated a rose using the old spagyric method and placed it beside Rose Splendens, a rare sixteenth-century rose with a spicy character.

The Signature of Cinabre
Indian black pepper and ginger open zesty and warm. At the heart the rose sounds pure and spiced at once. Myrrh gives a resinous, almost smoky depth.

Cinabre is a rose with teeth. The pepper and ginger make it lively, the myrrh adds a hint of an old church. It is not sweet and therefore suits men too. On skin it holds long and grows ever darker. We wear it on cold days, like a warm scarf of scent.
