Ik las in een artikel dat Meo Fusciuni heel veel naar het vroegere werk van Nick Cave luisterde terwijl hij Little Song maakte. Nick Cave is mijn grote muzikale held en mijn interesse was gewekt.
Als brave burger had ik de noten opgezocht en vond ''Little Song'' wel lieflijk klinken.
Totaal niet wat ik verwachtte. Ik rook woeste nog brandende koffiebonen, geen tuttige frappuccino. Gemengd met rozen. Diep, donker en rokerig en later wat warmer wordend op mijn huid.
En er gebeurde van alles, ik rook de roos, toen was de roos weer weg en rook ik iets van rum, de rum weer weg en ik rook aarde. En zo ging dat maar door. Het bleef me maar bezig houden.
Ik zie in gedachten Nick Cave achter de piano zitten met deze geur op ''Come loose your dogs upon me and let your hair hang down. You are a little mystery to me every time you come around.''
Een waanzinnig mooie geur.
It's really fantastic for me ! It was a blind buy and it's everything I expected.Really smells of roasted coffee beans from the start,but with some rose accord so it'almost sweet at some point.and after some time this combination, probably,starts smelling almost leathery and sometimes smokey.Completely unique scent in my opinion,and again for me fantastic !
