Ligno

Inspiration
Ligno means woody in Esperanto. When the devilish patchouli meets the pheromonal grey amber, Jeroboam writes, the result becomes more than a perfume: an alchemist's potion. In Vanina Muracciole's creation, Ligno is a woody extract with amber at its heart, wrapped in the enigmatic musks that give every Jeroboam perfume its particular volume.

The Signature of Ligno
Patchouli in overdose can turn earthy and heavy, but Ligno gives the leaf a bright, aromatic frame. Bergamot and sage open fresh and herbal, saffron adds a dry, leathery glow. In the heart, the salty, animalic warmth of grey amber meets resinous rockrose, lit by a touch of rose and the forest-like, balsamic freshness of fir balsam. In the base, patchouli turns soft and cocoa-like beside tonka bean, while the musks give the whole volume and a long, woody trail.
