The Story of the Brand
In 1911 Paul Poiret became the first couturier to found his own perfume house, naming it after his daughter Rosine. After his death the name faded away, until Marie-Hélène Rogeon revived it in 1991. She chose one flower and stayed loyal to it: every scent of the house revolves around the rose, each time in a different mood.
The Signature of the House
Recognisable are the round bottles with the graceful R and, for the Ballerina line, a collar of tulle. The rose appears fresh, powdery, fruity or richly woody, composed by perfumers such as Delphine Lebeau, François Robert and Serge de Oliveira.
