A young ship's captain passed through Grasse and asked for a perfume that smelled the way he dreamed: of salt, distant harbours and wind in the sails. Laura Tonatto wrote that adventure down in Albi and placed the miniature here inside a little book you open like a logbook.

This little book is one of our favourite small gifts. You open it and find 7 ml of Albi, just enough to live with for a few weeks. The scent itself is bright and classically masculine, with lavender that smells of freshly washed linen and oakmoss lending an old-fashioned charm. We love giving it to someone starting a new chapter, or tucking it into the suitcase for a weekend by the sea.
