Inspiration
21 Conduit St is named after the address of the Jovoy boutique in London's Mayfair. Here the house reinterprets a great classic of English perfumery: lavender, the ingredient that is to British perfumery what scones are to afternoon tea. The lavender accord comes from a formula by Oli Marlow, who has been fascinated by this aromatic note since childhood and wanted to give it more contrast, freshness and resinous warmth.

The Signature of 21 Conduit St
21 Conduit St lets lavender shine as you rarely smell it. Rhubarb and grapefruit give the opening a tart, juicy tension, bergamot makes it bright, and in between the lavender sounds fresh and clean rather than powdery. In the heart, amaretto slips in a soft, almond-like sweetness, while fir balsam adds a resinous, almost wintry warmth. Woods, ambroxan and tonka bean round the scent off into a smooth, modern skin scent with an elegant, softly sweet echo.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
21 Conduit St proves to us that lavender need not be old-fashioned at all. The pairing of rhubarb and amaretto is playful and surprising, yet the whole remains polished and British in its restraint. A modern, refined lavender scent that feels right at any time of day.
