Inspiration
La Route d'Émeraude is inspired, with a touch of nostalgia, by the road to the Emerald Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Cambodia meet. Many lovers of the Orient followed that route, past fields full of jasmine sambac and blooming flowers. The original perfume of 1924 was given a faceted bottle by Julien Viard.

The Signature of La Route d'Émeraude
Bergamot, rose and a warm touch of cinnamon give a spicy floral opening. At the heart, jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose bloom in full richness. Ambergris, benzoin, vanilla and musk lay a soft, oriental base that lasts.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us, La Route d'Émeraude is Isabey's most exotic scent. The cinnamon in the opening is a lovely surprise, after which the white flowers take over with a lush, almost tropical warmth. Our moment for it is a summer evening or a warm holiday day, when the tuberose can truly bloom. The benzoin and vanilla keep it beautiful until late in the evening. A scent full of memories of faraway places.
