Inspiration
Gardénia was one of the scents with which Isabey established its prestige in the 1920s, alongside Lys Noir and La Route d'Émeraude. The modern version is built around precious essences, such as ylang-ylang from the Comoros and sandalwood from Mysore. Isabey received an international award for this perfume jewel.

For us, Gardénia is one of the most beautiful gardenia scents we know. The flower is creamy and almost buttery, yet the iris and rose give it a refined, powdery edge. We find it lovely for a wedding or a special day, when a classic floral scent is entirely in place. It stays long and soft on the skin, with the sandalwood as a warm close. A timeless choice for lovers of white flowers.

Wauw..een ander woord heb ik niet. Deze als een sample mee geleverd bij mijn bestelling en wat vind ik haar mooi! Waar ik in eerste instantie dacht dat het te zwaar bloemig zou zijn, wordt ze al snel zacht, romig, lief, zomers en erg luxe.
