L'Humaniste Extrême, composed by Sidonie Lancesseur, is the deeper version of L'Humaniste. The same sparkling opening of citrus, cardamom and pepper leads to a heart of nutmeg, patchouli and quince, and tolu balsam, tonka and moss give a warm, balsamic base.

In our salon, L'Humaniste Extrême stands out for its interplay of nutmeg and Tolu balsam: elegant and full of nuance. On the skin the scent opens with lemon and bergamot, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then nutmeg and patchouli take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into Tolu balsam and Tonka bean, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for those who know L'Humaniste and seek a warmer version.
