1270 refers to the year the Frapin family settled in Grande Champagne, the heart of the Cognac region. The scent translates an old cognac to the skin: candied orange, hazelnut, raisins and prunes with cocoa and coffee, around a heart of vine flower and immortelle and a base of precious woods, white honey and vanilla.

For us, 1270 is a scent with a quiet confidence of its own: warm, cognac-like and understated. On the skin the scent opens with candied orange and hazelnut, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then vine flower and immortelle take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into precious woods and guaiac wood, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for lovers of cognac, dried fruit and warm gourmand scents.
