Safeena means ship. The scent takes you to a world where sea, sand and sails come together, and honours the traditional dhows in which Emirati traders sailed the Gulf for centuries. Sparkling citrus and noble woods form a maritime signature.

Bergamot and grapefruit open fresh and sunny. Ginger and cinnamon bring a warm, spicy tension, and guaiac wood gives a smoky, slightly tarry base like old ship's timber.

Safeena smells to us of a sail across the Gulf, with wind in your face and spices in the hold. The citrus is bright, the cinnamon and ginger warm, and the guaiac wood gives a beautiful, smoky finish. We find it a fine summer scent with more character than the average fresh scent. It is lovely in autumn as well. An adventurous choice.
