Graine de Joie

Graine de Joie translates the feeling of falling in love into fragrance. Together with perfumer Daphné Bugey, Eau d’Italie created a composition centered around lightness, spontaneity and the sparkling atmosphere of an Italian summer evening.

The name literally means “seed of joy,” and that is exactly what the fragrance radiates: bright, joyful and refined without becoming childish or overly sweet. It feels like sunlight reflecting on glasses of prosecco while warm Mediterranean air moves through a garden filled with flowers.

The opening is vibrant and juicy with red berries, red currant and pomegranate creating immediate fruity freshness. The fruits remain elegant and transparent rather than sticky or sugary. Everything feels sparkling and airy.

At the heart, freesia and soft floral nuances introduce refined softness while praline adds subtle warmth and texture. The gourmand facets remain beautifully woven into the composition, keeping the fragrance modern and sophisticated.

Musk and cedarwood create a soft skin-like base that blends seamlessly with the fruity opening. As the fragrance develops, it becomes warmer and softer while maintaining its bright Mediterranean character.
