Dryad

Inspiration
Dryad is an olfactory rendering of the changing seasons in the forest where perfumer Liz Moores lives. Envisioning the sacred spirits that inhabit each tree, she takes the wearer on scented wanderings past ancient trees, bark, leaf and earth: from the first buds of spring, through the vivid greens of summer, to the amber tones of autumn and the last leaves on the forest floor.

The Signature of Dryad
Emerald galbanum and cedrat open the journey. Beneath the canopy, narcissus and jonquil nestle together, before the greens slowly turn to a soft golden glow of benzoin, grounded by oakmoss and vetiver. A modern chypre that honours the classic structure without ever feeling dusty.

Dryad is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a green, mossy character that lingers. On the skin we notice how narcissus and oakmoss set the tone in the first hour, after which jonquil and cedrat slowly come forward. After several hours mainly galbanum and benzoin remain, close to the skin and ever more personal. We like to wear it best in spring and early autumn, during the day and on walks outdoors. A scent for lovers of green chypres and nature in all its seasons.
