Description

Drago Nero

Inspiration
You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star, wrote Nietzsche, and that quote inspired Drago Nero. In Asia the dragon stands for chaos and origin, wisdom and luck. The scent honours vetiver, also native to Asia, called the oil of serenity in ancient Hindu scriptures. Mark Buxton used varieties from Haiti and Java.

The Signature of Drago Nero
The opening is lively, with the citrus tartness of bergamot and ripe Calabrian tangerine, the exotic sweetness of pineapple and silky magnolia. Carnation and bourbon pepper lead into a heart of orange blossom, rose, velvety iris and earthy, powdery violet. Vetiver brings a grassy, salty and creamy freshness, with guaiac wood, amber, arnica, oak and sandalwood.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Drago Nero is a vetiver scent you do not expect. Instead of dry and stern, it begins juicy, with pineapple and tangerine. Only after half an hour does the vetiver arrive, grassy and slightly salty, and the iris makes the whole surprisingly soft. The oak and amber provide a long, warm drydown. We wear it all year, by day at the office and in the evening out.
