Inspiration
Deux, also written II, is about new beginnings. Trudon thought of the life of a forest breathing with the seasons: buds bursting open, needles falling, and the smell of resin when the first sun after winter shines on the trunks.

Green leaves and bitter orange open juicily. Juniper and pine make it cool and resinous. Cedar and incense lay a dry, smoky floor.

Deux feels like a walk through a pine forest after a rain shower. The bitter orange gives a lovely freshness, and the juniper almost recalls gin. Then it dries down to cedar with a wisp of incense. We wear it all year, but especially on bright spring days and weekends outdoors.
