Inspiration
In Australia's Central Highlands stand dry forests where resin softens in the sun. Desert rosewood and buddha wood grow there, two native woods. François Merle-Baudoin turned them into a spicy amber that smells of warm bark at the end of the day.

The Signature of Desert Rosewood
Sicilian mandarin opens sweet and juicy, with Indian cardamom as a fresh spice. Beneath lies the wood, round and almost fruity. Benzoin from Laos, vanilla from the Comoros and patchouli make the base dark and liqueur-like.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
To us Desert Rosewood smells like a glass of aged rum by a wood fire. It is a cosy scent, with a sweetness that never turns sticky because the cardamom keeps everything airy. In the end the skin holds on to a soft, resinous warmth. Our season is autumn and winter. A tip if you love amber with a spicy wink.
