Inspiration
Every Dear Diary Paris scent begins as a diary page. This one is about a first dive into the Baltic Sea, one of the coldest seas in the world, during a stay in Scandinavia. Curiosity wins over fear: beneath the dark blue water lie settlements eleven thousand years old, strange creatures and tales of submarines nobody can confirm.

The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Thyme, rosemary, bergamot
Heart notes: Olibanum, sandalwood, spices
Base notes: Grey amber, labdanum, benzoin
The Signature of Deep Deep in the Baltic
The opening is aromatic and spicy, with thyme, rosemary and bergamot like cold, clear air above the water. Beneath it the scent sinks into frankincense, sandalwood and spices, smoky and woody. In the base, grey amber, labdanum and benzoin bring a warm, sensual depth, like light fading slowly as you go deeper.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
We find this Dear Diary's most surprising scent. You expect something marine and fresh, but get a spicy, resinous scent that is warm rather than cold, like a wool jumper after an icy dive. The thyme and rosemary make it headstrong. Lovely in autumn and winter, for those who like incense with a green, herbal touch.

A wonderful ambery scent in the base. In the middle there is something, you can imagine the baltic sea.
