SUPERCRITICAL FLUID EXTRACTION ( CO2) BY LMR
This is a new form of solvent extraction in which supercritical CO2 is used as the solvent.
The supercritical CO2 can effuse through the solid like a gas, but also dissolving the aromatic components as a liquid would. It is very low in toxicity, as well as having a very low impact on the environment. The main benefit over other solvents is that when returned to room temperature the CO2 simply evaporates into a gas, leaving no trace in the extraction. Raw Materials which have been extracted this way are still relatively expensive; however this method is growing in popularity and as a result will become cheaper.
To sum up:
This technic preserves the natural smell of the ingredient because we obtain a pure extract with no impurity.
The second advantage is that it’s a smoother extraction, particularly interesting for fragile ingredients which are too delicate to stand high temperatures.
PACKAGING
A pure transparent glass reveals the beautiful orange colour of the fragrance. The logo is stamped on the bottle in black as well as the cup and pump on the top.
The box has a mat soft-touch black finish and the orange logo is printed with a shiny touch given by the UV varnish.
This contrast between this vivid orange and the chic allure of the black makes the overall very elegant and strong at the same time.
The perfume is available only in 100 ml size.
