Inspiration
With Secret Woods, Costume National went looking for the secrets of the forest: roots, resin and smoke. Perfumer Julien Rasquinet used LMR's Vetiver for Life as the cornerstone, a sustainably grown vetiver with an earthy, rich tone.

The start is bright and green thanks to grapefruit and juniper. Styrax and saffron then add a balsamic smoke, nutmeg a warm spice. Vetiver, leather and patchouli remain long and dry on the skin.

The 50 ml of Secret Woods is great for anyone seeking a woody scent with more personality than average. The LMR vetiver is truly beautiful: earthy, smoky and a little sweet. We wear it with flannel, denim and sturdy boots, but it also suits a dark suit. On the skin it develops nicely over the day. A smart choice for those who love smoke and resin without heaviness.
