Costarela moves us with its balance between Italian bergamot and Virginia cedar: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin the scent opens with Italian bergamot and saffron, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then marine accord and sand accord take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into Virginia cedar and Ambroxan, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in spring and summer, during the day and on holiday. A scent for lovers of salty, mineral scents with warmth.
