Chypre Shot belongs to the Sepia collection of extraits, in which Olfactive Studio shows classic materials at full strength. Bertrand Duchaufour gave the chypre accord a new, headstrong reading.

The Signature of Chypre Shot
Bergamot, black pepper and coffee open spicy and bitter. Peony adds a touch of flower. Oakmoss, patchouli and labdanum form a deep, mossy foundation with great length.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Chypre Shot is not for the hesitant. The moss is earthy and almost damp, the coffee gives it a bitter kick, and the peony keeps it elegant nonetheless. We call it a chypre with its sleeves rolled up. As an extrait it is powerful, and a single spray lasts all day. Lovers of old chypre structures will recognise a lot here, but in a contemporary form.
