“New York Patchouli” honors one of the most popular and sought-after perfume nuances ever: Dark, mysterious, intense, earthy - with facets of wine and balsam, patchouly is surprisingly a spice plant, related to lavender, rosemary and sage. It originates from the tropical regions of the Far East - Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the South Pacific - where the patchouli oil is distilled from the dark green leaves and spiky pink-white flowers. (In Tamil, the ancient East Asian language, patchouly means "green leaf").

The Fragrance
A delicious lemony-bergamot, fresh and delicate rose water and lychee with its slightly spicy appeal.
All this passes rapidly into the distinctive patchouly heart notes, backed by sophisticated hauntingly-intoxicating shades of lilies and lilac. The base notes give this bouquet its unforgettable reverberation: resinous ambergris (a classic companion of patchouly), silky, creamy sandalwood, cool contrasting Atlas cedarwood and - as a final and erotic thrill - a dash of musk.
