Inspiration
Larmes du Désert honours the perfume tradition of the Middle East. The name refers to the resin that flows like golden tears from trees in the desert, the source of frankincense and myrrh. Atelier des Ors, with its own gold flake in every bottle, found a naturally kindred image here.
Fragrance Family

The Signature of Larmes du Désert
Incense, cypress and guaiac wood open smoky and resinous. Patchouli, cedarwood and benzoin form a warm, balsamic heart. Labdanum, precious woods and amber give a dark glow below that smells of smouldering wood. It is an incense scent that feels both sacred and sensual.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Incense can be austere, but Larmes du Désert is friendly. First comes dry smoke, after which benzoin and labdanum make it ever sweeter and rounder, like resin melting in the sun. It stays on the skin for hours with a soothing, ambery glow, and on a wool scarf much longer. To us it belongs to a quiet Sunday, a moment of meditation or an evening with candles and a good book. Anyone who misses classic oriental scents will find something timeless here.
